Shirdi is a town located in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is famous for the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, which is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India. Sai Baba was a spiritual leader and saint who lived in Shirdi during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and he is revered by both Hindus and Muslims.

The Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is the main attraction in Shirdi, and it is believed that the temple was built over the samadhi (burial site) of Sai Baba. The temple complex is spread over a large area and includes several other shrines, meditation halls, and accommodation facilities for devotees.

By road:

Shirdi is located approximately 240 kilometers from Mumbai and 200 kilometers from Pune, and it is well-connected by road. The most common way to reach Shirdi by road is by taking a bus or hiring a taxi from Mumbai or Pune. The journey takes around 4-5 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

By train:

Shirdi has a railway station called the "Sainagar Shirdi Railway Station," which is well-connected to major cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Delhi. Several trains operate on a daily basis to and from Shirdi, and the journey time varies depending on the distance and train type. Alternatively, travelers can also take a train to Nashik Road Railway Station, which is located approximately 75 kilometers from Shirdi, and then take a taxi or bus to reach Shirdi.

The nearest airport to Shirdi is the Shirdi Airport, also known as the Shirdi International Airport. Several airlines operate regular flights to and from Shirdi to major cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. The airport is located approximately 14 kilometers from the town, and taxis and buses are available for transport.
